While it is not the expectation that Coach Corley allows everyone he knows and meets into his life on a more personal matter, he believes it is most important for his colleagues and future interactions are aware that there is more to Coach Corley than just a young professional who loves to lift and coach with a loud voice.

Education & Coaching Inspiration

After graduating from Oak Forest High School in 2010. With inspiration from coaches he’s had such as Brian McDonough, Thad Gatton, Matt Manzke, Ron Czarnecki, and Jason Thornmeyer among others, Coach Corley knew he wanted to make an impact on the lives of young people both in the classroom and in the competitive sports world.

Coach Corley attended the University of Louisville and almost immediately became involved with coaching and mentoring high school athletes.

Coach Corley has over ten years of high school football coaching experience that spans across three different states (Kentucky, Florida, and Georgia) and more importantly at schools with very different identities both athletically and academically. While he prioritizes his focus on weight room development and offensive line technique and schemes, he has experience in many facets of football.

Recently, Coach Corley has truly become passionate about the strength and conditioning development of amateur athletes at the high school age as well as being the throwing coach for Track and Field.

Personal Life

Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Coach Corley is the oldest of Tom and Helen Corley’s two kids. A first generation Immigrant with much of their family still in Ireland, to be spoiled in the Corley house meant that you were cosseted with love and affection- all that a young man could need.

After graduating high school in 2010, Coach Corley attended the University of Louisville. With many extra curricular involvements and social groupings, Coach Corley graduated in 2014 with a degree in Secondary Education of both Mathematics and Spanish. Knowing that he wanted to pursue some sort of post graduate degree, but unsure of what to pursue, Coach Corley immediately found employment in rural Kentucky and thoroughly enjoyed his time their but knew that at a young age had to go through more experiences! After leaving Kentucky, Coach Corley worked as a teacher and Coach on both coasts of Florida for a span of 5 years in different areas and with different titles, but most importantly met his now wife Meredith Corley, nee McKague.

Liam followed his wife’s career path up to the northwest suburbs of Atlanta where they now reside permanently after marrying in 2021 and most recently after the birth of their daughter, Teagan Corley. Coach Corley is currently the school Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, Offensive Line Coach, and Head Throws Coach for Track and Field at Denmark High School.
